Sounds Like
The Edisons excel at arousing up sunny, filler-free and peachy keen pop that is filled with plaintive, colorful vocals, inviting and consistently memorable melodies and atoning hooks. "a classic power pop sound!" The band mentions The Beatles, Tom Petty, REM, The Jayhawks and The Romantics as influences and, sure those are there, but you can also hear hints of the Raspberries, Gin Blossoms, Klaatu, and early 80`s faves like The Producers and Hawks. Wait!!! Actually, We sound like the Edisons!!!

The Edisons are a Tampa based band specializing in classic power pop songs from the 1960's & 1970's as well as early MTV favorites. The Edisons also perform original material that echoes the sounds of The Beatles, Tom Petty, REM and The Romantics.
Hailing from Tampa, Florida and melding equal parts rock and pop, The Edisons consist of: Tom Errico, Nick Bostinto, Al Ehrhart, and Roger Gabbey. They have been a staple on many central Florida concert & club stages.
With the release of their CD Lost In The Dream, the band looks to broaden that scope. Lost In The Dream " was recorded from March thru October 2004 at Zen Recording. Produced by Steve Connelly and the band, the Cd features 13 finely crafted songs that range from straight ahead rockers like The Flame to shadows of the British Invasion in Dangerous Girl . There is also the taste of the bands alternative side on Just For You and Call On Me
Lost In The Dream embodies the songwriting input of the members of band. The diversity in the songwriting styles adds an added dimension to the tracks and offers an insight into the individual influences that each member brings.
Ultimately there are two tracks that really define the CD. The first is the title track Lost In The Dream . This pulls its influences from two classic rock albums. The Beatles Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and Pink Floyds Dark Side Of The Moon A haunting tale of how we are all lost in our own dream, and searching for definition and strength in our lives.
Seven Minutes is a stark but hopeful reflection of a tragic incident. This song is dedicated and inspired by Adam Walsh, who was abducted and murdered on Floridas east coast in July of 1981.
The CD is full of songs filled with thought-provoking lyrics and melodies that will swim in your head. The cd is still available
