Hello world, we're The Give It Ups.
We have been in existence since, um, June or July or something I think it was, when four, and recently five, people collectively decided to take time out from helping making the world a better place in such fields as education, healthcare and.. whatever it is David does for a living.. in order to form a musical combo. Exciting stuff I realise, and here we are but a few months later, setting up our own evil Murdoch-owned online band CV thingy. Please feel free to become our friend and so forth via the usual channels, and if you want to say hello or talk business, try: thegiveitups@googlemail.com .
You can buy our very first single now on Cloudberry Records! Click on the scary cat below if you're that way inclined...

Please please forgive us our lack of myspace etiquette, we almost completely forgot to tell you how wondrous we thought you were in Stoke the other week!
And thanks for the CD! I played 'Be My Cat' to my mum's cat and she enjoyed it very much. By enjoyed I mean she bombed about the house like a mentalist for five minutes then started to climb up the curtains, but that's usually her sign of approval.
And the cat quite liked it too. Boom boom!
Hahahahahaha! I made a funny! D'ya get it? The cat liked it TOO!! It was my mum climbing up the curtains and... oh, forget it.
I'll shut up now.
Hope all goes well for the future! Ads, Pocket Drummer xxxx
