The Electric Contrast a rock band that has such a momentous unyielding sound that will immerse you into their world, only more impressive that they can have strong, varied and original songs in their repertoire. It’s always exciting to see musicians playing with belief in their music from Rob’s strong but subtle drumming, Matt’s driving bass lines, Allister's atmospheric keyboard playing, Gareth’s catchy creative riffs and vocal delivery that can be similar to any of following depending on the song David Grohl or Bono or Jimi Hendrix. All brought together by a good strong stage presence and moving rhythms.
The band has performed in Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Solihull.
The Electric Contrast has played ‘Bar Academy’ in Birmingham, ‘The Shed’ in Leicester and many other venues in the Midlands.
The Electric Contrast is four different people, with different influences, all brought together by the love of the music they create together and captivating crowds everywhere they go! So as their profile says, ‘Come Feel the Electricity!’
21,343 plays when I looked! That's a wholesome amount…
It's musically a similar sound to Hendrix (who's complaining there?), as far as I'm concerned....
