THE ELECTRIX have been playing around the Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens and Metropolitan areas for many years.
They have had the opportunity to perform together with the legendary fiddle player, Vassar Clements as well as pedal steel guitarist Buddy Cage (New Riders of the Purple Sage), Levon Helm (formerly of The Band) and Hot Tuna guitarist/ vocalist, Michael Falzarano. They have opened for such notables as The David Nelson Band, Commander Cody, Railroad Earth and The Robbie Krieger Band.
They have also been involved in shows with Jorma Kaukonen, Peter Rowan, David Gans and the late Dick Latvala.
THE ELECTRIX have released their second CD, which is comprised of original material and “special guest” musicians, featuring Buddy Cage, on AMD Records.
In addition they are performing an extensive schedule of shows in and around the New York area.
