  • Bio

Recently back in action following a hiatus bloodied by drunkenness and childbirth, this three piece indie-rock band from Newport scored an 8/10 EP review in Rock Sound magazine, were showcased by Bethan Elfyn and Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio One, recorded sessions for Adam Walton on Radio Wales, soundtracked extreme sports shows on ITV and Channel Four and had music used by Sony in a Gran Turismo web and TV launch campaign. BBC Radio One said this: "First there was 60ft Dolls, then came Skindred, soon after was the GLC - and now there's The Elephant Rescue Plan. Oh yes, Newport's band making machine has come up trumps again." Releases to date have included the band's No Ordinary Broadcast EP, Lights single and the album Songs From The Trunk.
