Bobbi-Jo turns out tunes like there is no tomorrow, sometimes with angst sometimes with a smile. Chris is the skin and muscle to every musical skeleton of The Elixxxirs contributing memorable bass lines that fit the songs perfectly. Alec solidifies The Elixxxirs with energized tempos and fiery beats that make everyone want to move. Kevin is the newest member making this upbeat trio a fantastic 4! aIt's all about feeling good, having fun, and doing whatever you want when this band burns up the stage.
The Elixxxirs have been reeling people on to the dance floor with their musical charm since New Years Eve 2005. In the years that The Elixxxirs have been on the stage they have watched their fan base grow larger and more enthusiastic. In 2006, The Elixxxirs released their Debut CD "Elixxx This!" following the release with a cross Canada tour. In August 2006 The Elixxxirs opened for Chris Murray
In April 2007, The Elixxxirs completed their first video for their song "Forget About It". The Elixxxirs toured 10 dates in Western Canada in June/July 2007 and finished up their tour playing the 8th Annual Victoria Ska Fest where they opened for Neville Staple (from The Specials). The Elixxxirs have a great time on the road meeting people and playing in different cities! In May 2008 The Elixxxirs opened for The Slackers (NYC)!
In June 2009 The Elixxxirs will be touring western Canada once again and later in 2009 a second full length CD will make it's way to the masses! Das 10. Jubiläum des "Fluch der Skaribik Festivals" findet am 20. Mai in der Maria am Ostbahnhof statt. Es wird ein Doppel-Record-Release Konzert vom Berlin Boom Orchestra, welches eine neue EP mit heißen Reggae-Dancehall-Tracks veröffentlichen werden. Zudem wird Carlos de Nicaragua sein neues Latin-Reggae-Album in Europa veröffentlichen. Das ex Mitglied & Songschreiber von Mano Negra spielt nur 3 Konzerte auf seiner Tour in Deutschland. Supporten wird das ganze Hans der Kleingärtner, die schon beim Album-Record-Release vom Berlin Boom Orchestra im SO36 eingeladen waren. Die Aftershowparty werden Berliner Szene-Größen wie P.R. Kantate, Ganjaman und Lou Large rocken.

For those who haven't heard, we'll be in the studio these next few months to record a new album with the renowned reggae singer, Eyon Irie. After that it's summer shows and writing songs for the next Orbits album!
