The bed is cozy and warm and it feels like floating in heaven with a TV screen off in the distance. A truly sensational movie watching experience. | | Television | The thing about television, it is good for news, but you are on vacation, so don't worry so much about it. Grab a movie and get snuggly. | | Books | We are featured in the book: California Hauntspitality. By Robert and Anne Wlodarski. You will find this and copious quantities of other reading material scattered about the house. There are so many great little nooks and crannys in the house where you can perch and enjoy reading. About me:
I was built in 1871 by Calistoga's first circuit court judge. I am a french style victorian and the elm trees that grace my yard were planted as seedlings that same year. During the early nineteen hundreds I was run as a brothel. The Madame and her cat lived and died here. Their spirits are reported to "haunt" the third floor. In fact it is rumored that we have several spirits roaming these halls, including "Ruby" a servant girl. My favorite "spirits" though are the special Friday night wine pourings hosted by various boutique Napa Valley wineries. I am walking distance to the Calistoga Inn and Brewery, an award winning Micro-Brewery and local weekend "hotspot". The Breakfast we serve was developed by a graduate of the CIA at Greystone. Our staff is young and friendly, willing to point you in the direction of all the great stuff our area has to offer. Ask about in room massage!
