About THE EMBRACED-w/ Hawthorne Heights/Armor For Sleep
The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

"Remember when music made the little hairs on the back of your neck stand up? We do."
-The Embraced
The story of Jacksonville, Florida’s The Embraced began in 2005. Already veterans of the Northeast Florida music scene, these young musicians wanted to create music that filled the gaping void left open by their more complacent peers. Following their explosive debut onto the scene, the next few years would bring many admirers to The Embraced’s melodic blend of high register vocals, layered guitar hooks and pounding rhythms. Even with the many changes in the local and national scene the band stayed true to their roots and influences, never compromising on their sonic vision. The band entered the studio in January of 2006 with producer Sam Rivers of Limp Bizkit at Born Recording Studio in Jacksonville, Florida to lay down tracks for their debut record. In a world of overproduced, cookie cutter bands, The Embraced are hailed by many to be the “saviors of rock music as we know it.” Their ultimate goal of creating real music that envokes feeling, energy and emotion to the listener has paid off rather well. The band has shared the stage with such powerhouse national acts as
30 Seconds to Mars, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Yellowcard, Puddle Of Mudd,
Institute (feat Gavin Rossdale of Bush), Saliva, Sevendust, Seven Mary Three, and
have also performed at The Warped Tour. Their many “Embracers” would agree, “No one is safe in here.”
