Matt Goud (MEANS singer/guitarist) debuts his moniker THE EMERSON LETTERS with his full length See This Through. Bare, minimalist production leaves room for gorgeous layered songs with depth and conviction. MEANS fans will see the same humble and gentle soul they’ve come to know, this time captured in moments of quiet but aggressive candor. Recorded in an old farmhouse in the prairies of Saskatchewan, See This Through drops January 22nd. For fans of Pedro the Lion and Elliot Smith.

Hey matt! It's patrick from regina here.. Don't know if you remember me, we met a while back.. A few months ago I asked if it would be alright to use some of your music in a short film I was making. Well I never ended up making it, however now I'm in vancouver going to film school. I'm about to shoot a documentary, and we need a soundtrack. I was wondering if I could use your tunes?!
I'm a big fan, and I thought it would be cool to incorporate some hometown talent. At first i thought it would be impossible cus I'd need you to sign off some release forms saying its ok that I use your music in my doc. But I see you're going to be in vancouver this weekend!! I'm going to the show forsure.. I was just wondering if it would be cool to use your music for my doc?
it was awesome hanging out with you and the rest of the guys on tuesday/wednesday morning. hope you all enjoyed your stay in delaware. we'll be sure to catch you guys whenever you're close again and hopefully get to hang out some more. hope you enjoyed that new blacklisted, as well! enjoy all of your plastic dogs (haha) and stay safe on tour. never forget the fizzy lifting drink and the microwavable pancakes!
I'm glad we learned to never give you OJ in the wee hours of the morning, for sure. Dylan left his dog but I don't think he loved it and Tyler left a tank top. I'm glad you guys made it safely and had a great show! Have an awesome tour and come back ASAP! Next show I'll demand Everest. =)
