The Emotional Junkies
The Emotional Junkies Hailing from the scenic coastline of Clare, Digby County Nova Scotia, have put together a sound with a wealth of various styles and musical interpretations. There is no doubt that these musicians each offer their distinct ingredient to the mix. This group gets its influence from everything to the loose folk rockish feel of artists like Neil Young and Matt Mays, the Canadian country rock feel of Blue Rodeo, the jam band improvisational aspect of groups like The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd and Phish and not to forget the brash hard rocking energy of the punk and grung era mixed in with their highly emotinal style of jam based rock and the hard edge of such modern groups a Wolfmother and The White Stripes ( hence the name The Emotional Junkies). All rolled up into one, The Emotional Junkies offer you a musical experience you will not soon forget.

Not just another genre, folk rock was born as a statement—of purpose, of taste, of superiority—the baby boom’s first imprimatur, a musical mission and a personal battle cry in a divisive time of racial tension and escalating war. For a generation of philosopher dropouts and drug-inspired visionaries, it was also the best way to partake in the era’s hippest form of artistic expression, in numbers previously unknown to man.

What's up The Emotional Junkies ? We (twelve34) have a tiny favour to ask.
We're in studio right now making our new album, and what will definetely be our best album yet. But as you probably know, making an album can definetely rack up - and we're flat broke.
We're looking for small donations - as little as you can, to help out the process. It's of course not unrewarded - any donation of atleast 1$ and we'll send you a high quality mp3 of our first single when it comes out, and any donation of atleast 10$ and we'll send you the entire album! :) Just our way of saying thanks.
If you want to make a donation - just go to our profile! Lets make this dream a reality! :) Thanks alot.
