Empty Threats are a 4 piece band from the area of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. The group consists of Dom Bowden on vocals and lead guitar, Charlie Bates on Rhythm guitar, Andy Dibley on bass and Tom Bates on drums.
They have been together for over 4 years now and recorded their first demo which is available here to listen to. They also recorded 12 tracks in a home recording studio in Beaconsfield earlier this year. This material will be availble at gigs, just ask for a 5 track cd from any of the members. If you're lucky you can get some other freebies too!
Their achievements include winning a local BOTB at BCUC University in Wycombe. It was the bands first real gig and the audience were impressed with the classic rock with modern influences style of music.
They have played numerous times at local venues in Wycombe and the area including the notorious White Horse on the London Road. Empty Threats have also be written about in the BCUC magazine after performing a pack show with a recently signed band called The Sarandon.
The band still gigging the local area and are looking for gigs, so if you're a promotor contact the band through myspace or via email.
