We are influenced mostly by boredom and a hope that the boredom will stop if we sing loud enough and play hard enough.

If you dont listen to too much music then we sound like nothing you've heard before and you will love us. If you have some musical knowledge you should use that knowledge and listen to the songs on this very page then make up youre own mind.
The Epaulettes play wonderfully beautiful songs and will do until it stops being the most fun we've ever had with our trousers on. Thats all you and we need to know about our origins, just plug your headphones in and enjoy us having fun...and being extremely insightful as well of course.
It would be awesome if you could come along to our Open Mic Night on 12th May, upstairs in the Belle Vue, Merthyr Tydfil.
Whether you want to play, sing or just appreciate with a few beers, please help us promote music in Merthyr :) Another rendition of the Balti Wallah song would be very welcome!
