Bluesy rock n rollers The Epics gave an excellent performance, and due to a massive audience response, qualified to the second round in first place. A creative and interesting sound, they’ve got some solid material and made their performance energetic, but look effortless. Strong and exiting up-tempo numbers like “Breakneck” are real crowd pleasers, while the band also manage to create atmospheric slower tracks with haunting melodies, a testament to their ability as song writers. An excellent stage presence for such young lads, especially front man Phil who shone with confidence, they are definitely one-to-watch.

A sound comprising of elements of indie, rock n roll and blues they’ve got a great musical direction and the ability to do it well. Clever lyrics and some great guitar work from Dave show a talent for creating songs well beyond their years.
