Canada's Worst Band EVER!!! THE EPITOMEES were born in a drunken drug induced state some time in 1990. The 4 original filthy fuckers all agreed that this shit they were calling grunge sucked ass. It was time to offend everyone!!! That's exactly what we did on and off stage. Druggies, Drunks and Low Lifes were fueling the Epitomee onslaught.
Some time in late 91' or early 92' Jimi announced his departure due to personel reasons. We understood and wished him well. We didn't have to look very far for a new drummer. Johnny wanted in on the hellride so it was full steam ahead. More drugs, More booze and some how more fucking freaks!
By 1993 shit had gone completly out of control. There was a very dark cloud hanging over our heads. We were loosing friends to drugs and jail. Then the news hit Johnny had O.D. Everthing was in total termoil and we went our seperate ways. Some to jail, some to rehab and some into more chaos.
Fast forward to 2004. Wiff gets a call from Jay, who is in Winnipeg. Once again, like a decade earlier they start talking about The Epitomees. Wiff speaks to Black Rodeh.. and Jimi about hitting it again. We were all in, and this was the original unit. Jay books it back to start jaming again. That was short lived and Jay returned to Winnipeg.
Fast forward a few more years to 2007. Jay returns, The Epitomees are born again. Jaming and jaming for the next while. Duing this time we had to make some changes. This marked the departure of Black Rodeh... and the first new Epitomee member since Johnny came Jef. We welcomed Jef with open beers and lite joints. He fit like a glove,a true Epitomee.
Okay, we are approaching the end of 2009. We're playing shows, we're practicing, we're writing new material and we're recording. WE ARE EPITOMEES!!!
