We really can not say we are inspired by anything other than all we know is we
have been singing from day one. However, we have come to appreciate music as
a means to inspire others and found music to be a good shelter that one can
find peace of mind in. So, if you can sing go for it, if not listen to music.
Are
you guys famous?
Haben said during a show "we love to
sing, period! It doesn't matter whether we are famous or not" then
she added "of course we would love to be famous but..."
How
do you work together as sisters?
We are just like any other sisters. When it comes
to music however, we seem to have a natural balance of respecting each others
talent and not get in to fights. After training with Nick Cooper, we
discovered that Lianda is the "passion" of the group, Haben is the
"Vision" and Salina the "Determination" so we
compliment each other nicely.
Do
you like certain type of music?
Not really, we like all sorts of music from
country to African music. However, each one of us seem to have a strength in
some type of music. Lianda loves mostly R&B and Hip-Hop. Salina loves to
listen mostly to "pop & country" and Haben loves mostly R&B
and soul music. Not sure where the commonality is but we surely are diverse.
What
do you guys want to be?
Hmm, listen to our song titles "what I want
to be" and you will have an idea. Academically however, Haben admires
producers and artists. Lianda loves animals and admires veterinarians. Salina
really enjoys law and wants to represent her self by becoming entertainment
lawyer.
Are
you really Africans?
Yes, 100% "Habesha" from East Africa.
Even Salina:-)
Do
you like representing one country?
Not really, we would love to represent Africa
because of our heritage, we would love to represent Europe because we are born
in Europe and we love to represent the US because we live in the US and Haben
is born here. So, our social background allows us to feel more
international.
Most
asked question is: When is your CD going to be released?
Stay tuned, we are working hard to get everything
lined up. In the mean time we have released a single titled BFF and you can buy here. Just scroll up!
