You know....it's kinda funny....I haven't been doing music for a LOOOONG time. And to have all my old DANCE music up on this page is bringing back a lot of memories. I hope to be adding some NEW music to this page soon.... as I am JUST now beginning to get back into the groove. I am working with various writers and producers....and working on a new genre of music as well. more Sherly Crow/Lucinda Williams type music. But, don't worry dance fans....we can always remix!! :)
My tastes range from Blues to Jazz, Country, to just plain kick ASS Rock and Roll!! If someone had told me I was going to be doing Dance music...I would have never believed them!! But....I did....and I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for the producers, and remixers out there! It is an art all in it's own....for sure! But, following the Grateful Dead for 6 yrs in the early 80's....I thought I would be headed in a TOTALLY different direction. But, I sing....and I love to sing....give me a mic, and I'm ON.
I grew up in a musical/performing family, so it's in my blood! I have had the great fortune, and pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Joni Mitchell, Chaka Khan, Joe Jackson, Bette Midler, and Whitney Houston to name a few. I have traveled the world singing and shakin it in the late 90's! It really was a ton of fun....and then I lost my way.
I am now 4 yrs sober....and couldn't be happier in my life! My son Zach is 11 yrs old....and man....can he play guitar and drums like no ones buisness!!!! and on Sept 14th, 2006, I gave birth to my second son Dylan.
Dylan is now walking and speaking his own language, with many of our own words!! I am so truely blessed....I swear. MY CHILDREN, WILL ALWAYS, ALWAYS, COME FIRST! ZACH AND DYLAN, ARE MY WORLD!
Let's keep the gift of Life, Music, Love and Laughter flowing....and I will keep you posted as to what's new, and what you can expect from me.
