THE ESCAPE ARTIST are a four piece Post-Hardcore outfit from the Washington, DC area. Their ambient and experimental guitarwork, layered among the tightly nuanced vocal harmonies are an homage to the earlier work of bands like THURSDAY, and At The Drive-In. Their influences draw from powerful 90's pioneers, such as Fugazi and the Smashing Pumpkins.
Their debut EP, "Monuments at Sea" was produced by their very own Chad Richman, and mixed by Baltimore's Justin Day.
