JULY 17th
new music, new website (still under construction). it's nice to have new material recorded and readily available. we've been sending emails and calling new folks and cashing in on favors in attempts to get some shows before the end of summer. the new music is burning a hole in our pockets. we must get it out. and if there are still issues of ECHO out there, grab one up. even if you have to pretend to read it.

MAY 17th
thank you for coming to Limelight last night in support of a truly unique san antonio show. Fin del Mar and Honey Thief were great as always and it's not every day that bands like these can come together in one venue in this city. if you came, we hope you had a blast. if you stayed, we're excited that you care about good music. if you left, well... we just don't know what to say about you (we do, but that's for another posting). we have no upcoming shows yet, but plan on an austin show in july. we will continue working on our practice space and will continue our search for an engineer to assist in live recordings so that you, the good listener, may have some tangible Espera melodies in hand. go spurs go.

MAY 4th
ok... we REALLY APPRECIATE brent's hospitality down at music town. libby, too. maybe it was the bad address in the zine, maybe it was the spurs game, maybe it was the city. who knows? we're not one to point fingers. for long. thank you very much for listening despite our attempts at liberating you before the show got started. it meant a lot. and thank you, random guy who left us a round of dos x, that meant a lot, too. now onward... our next show is May 16th at the limelight with fin del mar and honey thief. check the flyer for details. oh, and remember your spirit.

MAY 3rd
wow, we're lazy. it's been over a month since our last update and stuff has changed. for starters, Echo has its own Myspace. for you faithful supporters that have not already added yourselves, please make friends with the one who loves you so. secondly, our june show in austin with Fin del Mar and Honey Thief has been cancelled due to some management shifts at the venue. we are trying to set up another show in its stead, but nothing is certain as of yet. finally, we are playing tonight at Brent's fabulous shop, Music Town, on Broadway across from Central Market. at the show, we will also be unveiling the most recent issue of Echo for those of you who have been asking. thanks for all your support and encouragement.

APRIL 1st
we were glad to have hosted monument to no one this past saturday at saluté. they're an amazing band, you should check them out in austin, or wait impatiently for their next san antonio show (hope you guys and gal found that elusive 24 hour mexican food restaurant). it was also cool being able to play with transfers one last time. i don't think we've heard the last of those cats, in some way or another. if you took a zine, awesome. if you want one, visit your independent music stores for a free copy. if you left one untouched, it's indicative of your literacy level (it's ok, it'll be our little secret). april will find us revamping our command center, recording, and writing new songs. we've got some heaven in our heads...
