The Ethereal Plane makes music that is an exploration through rock, jazz-fusion, funk, trance and improvisation. With a collective drive to unify the band and audience through the hypnotic energy of music and transcendental dance therapy, EP has been bringing its unique sound to venues across Colorado and beyond.
EP first hit stages in 2002 around Boulder CO and has transformed a few times since, it's current lineup features Patrick Latella, Christian Teele, Bill McKay, Paul Murin, Jeff Fournier and special guests Pete Wall and Jubal. This tight and experienced unit brings together a diverse musical background to create a unique blend of sonic power that elevates the mind and fills the dance floor.

The Ethereal Plane is...
Guitarist/vocalist/songwriter/composer Patrick Latella has been writing and performing in CO since 1993 and has shared stages with Leftover Salmon, YMSB, Joan Osbourne, MOE., Tea Leaf Green, Perpetual Groove, The Motet, Kan'Nal and many others. As the primary force behind the band's original tunes, he combines melodic themes and funky rhythms with surreal visions and liquid atmospheres.
Bassist Jeff Fournier brings a thumping power on the low end and mastery of the instrument, a Denver monster. Bring on tha funk!
Christian Teele rocks out on drums and percussion, providing the Plane with unstoppable rhythm. Christian is one of the Front Range's most sought after drummers and can be heard nationally on the E-Town radio show every week as part of the E-Tone band. His pocket is deep and nasty.
Bill McKay brings his mastery of the keyboards to add a powerful melodic depth to the music as well as his soulful singing. Whether ripping around on piano or slamming home some B-3, Bill's playing is a force.
Paul Murin is a versatile and powerful guitarist. He brings his sick chops and classy rhythm abilities to take the music to a whole new level. His extensive experience brings solid tone combined with quick and innovative fret-work.
Sax player Pete Wall is a frequent flyer on the Plane, when he's free from special shows with Particle and Tea Leaf Green he adds the icing on the EP cake.
