This is their first time over to Scotland and their Aberdeen debut gives them just enough time to get good and whiskey soaked before heading south to play the annual Chernobyl Benefit in Glasgow. More music from Belfast punk and rollers The Lobotomies and an Aberdeen debut for the Dobbers as well who feature former members of Dundee horror punk fivesome the Dirty Wee Middens. There is going to be a swapbox on the door for this one so bring along any old punk albums to donate or swap. Oh yeah and anybody that wears a kilt gets bought a pint. Not from us. Somebody else might buy you one though.

litterbug	Jul 24 2007 6:34 PM The WEST COAST ROCK CAFE Club Above is about to have ist annual PUNKROCK explosion. To proceed the forthcoming Rebellion Festival aftershows is the regular monthly Punk night. On Friday August 3rd SWALLOW, SEDATED(ramones covers) and THE WIND UP BIRDS from Leeds will all play their short and sweet sets. The venue opens at 10pm and there will be the usual drink deals. The following week sees the Rebellion Festival Punk snowball gather pace. Trapped in its velocity at the West Coast Aftershows will be PINK HEARSE, INTRAVENUS IN FURS, CSOD, SENTON BOMBS, ERASE TODAY, SWALLOW & UFX, with the possible appearances of local favourites THE CERAMIC HOBS, PINK TORPEDOES and the reformed HIT BY AN APPLE. These events will take place on thurs 9th, fri 10th and sat 11th of sept from 10pm til very late. The final night of Rebellion is Sunday 12th August, and due to last years queues the aftershow venue will be BEAT nightclub on Corporation Street. The night will feature short sets from THE EMOTIONAL PROBELMS OF DIRK DIGLER and LITTERBUG. SICK56 will take stage last. Punk tunes will be played and heard througout the nights. Also providing entertainment for the towns local and visiting Punks will be the BLUE ROOM pub on Church Street. Punk tunes can be heard on thurs9th/fri10th August from 2-6pm. On sat11th/sun12th, live performances from BOREDOM, EXORCISTORS, THREE MEN GONE MAD and THE WIND UP BIRDS will take place from 2-6pm also. If you want to get started early for Rebellion, the West Coast Cafe will be open and playing Punk tunes Pre-Rebellion Festival on Wednesday night til 2am. Entry to all events wil
