A Lull has been hard at work. Establishing core members. Writing new material. We are pleased to announce that David Lubarski is one of our core members. After years of playing with Dave, the chemistry we have with him is unmatched and we are pleased to be playing with him again. A Lull will have a MySpace soon and we will be updating you with performance dates for this spring. This new material is exciting. We will be picking up where The Evaluation left off, but in a more mature direction...hope you guys are as excited as we are! David is continuing with Nor. Continue to support him. He has his first full length debut coming out very soon. Keep checking his site for updates.
Nigel & Todd have begun a new project entiteled, A Lull. They are in the process of grouping and writing. A Lull will play music in the vein of the more recent The Evaluation songs such as "The Lion" and "Sailor's Songs". Those songs (previously noted) will be rewritten and rearranged as A Lull. It will not only consist of Todd & Nigel, but also members of bands in which they have had friendships with in the past and present will be making appearances on the record which will be released on Lujo Records. It will be entitled "We Traded Our Horses for Bicycles and Our Bicycles for Bus Passes". www.alull.com
After a very long history, The Evaluation has decided to come to end. We love everyone who has ever supported us, who has ever given us a place to sleep, who has ever booked a show and whoever cared in general. We believe that the time has come for The Evaluation name to be put to rest. David will be continuing with his electronic project entitled Nor and Todd and Nigel will be pursuing other endeavors. Keep your eyes peeled for all of those projects...they are going to be great ones. We are performing one last show February 3rd, 2006 in Valporaiso, IN with The Skies We Built (ex-Ateriavia, ex-Cabaret). So if you are in the area, please join us for one last hurrah!
