Both Troy and myself are huge fans of the powerpop. So a long long time ago, we decided to form a band. Not for the fame, not for the money and not for the girls (okay, maybe a little for the girls).
No, we did this because we had to. Bands like the Stems, the Smithereens, the Plimsouls, Manual Scan, Tommy Keene, Joe Jackson, the Insomniacs, the Unemployed, the Supers and hundreds of others. In some ways, the Everyday Things is a tribute to those artists. Mostly for keeping us from going insane due to what is on the radio and MTV!
Hey, I just wanted to let you know we are playing two shows in Charlotte this Friday, 3/22!!! We'll be playing Borders on Northlake Mall Drive at 4:00 and then we are heading over to The Evening Muse. It is an All-Ages show and we will be playing with gogoPilot. The cover is $6.
