They are three guys and a girl, all related. There is Susan, Queen of the jungle beat, Oliver on hot - wired guitar, Tim the bass slingin swinger, Tony the humpin’ and thumpin’ howler.
They took Rock n Roll’s head and put it in a pot, and cooked up a potent brew of primitive blues, lewd rockabilly, greasy rhythm and blues, crashin surf reverb, stompin’ gospel, and garage trash. Guaranteed to leave an aftertaste!
Originating in St. Kilda some years back, The Exotics have been tearing up stages in Melbourne’s inner city, and have taken their stuff around Australia to great acclaim. They’ve supported such acts as Bob Log the 3rd, T - Model Ford, Southern Culture On the Skids, Andre Williams, The Atlantics, The Scientists, and played many festivals including the Big Day Out, Sydney’s Hootenany, Apollo Bay, and The Falls Festival, and 2006 Queenscliff music festival, and lead singer Tony Shaw won an award for ‘best dance moves’ after their 2007 Big Day Out appearance.
Patrick Donovan from the Age said : He got the crowd moving early as he shimmied and yelped through songs such as ‘Crazy Chicken’ and ‘Two Headed Woman. But he saved his best move for the end, turning his back to the crowd and shaking his yellow maracas between his legs as though freeballing!
To date they have released three vinyl singles, and a self - titled album, lauded by critics and fans alike.

Joining them on the night is Mirrorhouse Antics whos live show is a cross between the Arctic Monkeys and The Stooges. They have just released their debut album, recorded at Bakehouse by Mikey from Eddie Current Suppression Ring. Dan Webb's 60's styled Hammond infused insanity is gonna be something to look out for as well as the 'Wise Flys' : they'll make you laugh they'll make you cry, they'll make you laugh about crying. Psychedelic Rock Band, Slocombe’s Pussy, will interpret the live projected tattoos of Tony "the Face" Cronin, former chauffeur & bodyguard of Chopper Read. This show is a collaboration between Musicians, a Video Artist and a Tattoo Collector. Slocombe’s Pussy are joined by saxophone firebrand, Adam Simmons and New Blood co-conspirator Ben Carr and, visual artist and VJ Paul Rodgers, in a chaotic journey of searing saxophones, improvised guitar solos, noise and sonic brutalism, layered over rugged riffs. Slocombe’s Pussy sonically tell the stories etched in Tony’s skin since he started collecting tattoos at 13 years of age.
