BIOGRAPHY
..Since forming in 2006, The Exposed, have set about creating their own individual sound whilst keeping true to the musical roots and ideals of Punk.
With over 250 gigs & festivals played throughout the UK and Europe, including support slots with Rancid, The Bouncing Souls and Stiff Little Fingers, they have fast becoming one of the most respected bands amongst the new breed of UK Punk.
The early years saw the band developing their sound playing a host of different venues around the UK, however in 2008 they branched out and headlined their first European tour throughout Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria as well as playing both the Rebellion Festivals in Vienna and Blackpool.
The summer months also saw the start of the now well documented ‘Busking Tours’ which saw the band busk around the UK with the likes of Anti Flag, The King Blues and Bowling for Soup to queue’s outside the venues. This method of getting the name out around the UK has earned them press coverage as well as personal praise and commendation from punk legends Tim Armstrong and Lars Frederiksen.
2009 has seen The Exposed play a host of shows around the UK including a number nights of the Agent Orange European tour. The spring sees the band back in the studio to start recording the first tracks of the forthcoming album 'Welcome to Rebel City' due for release in March 2010 and in June they will be heading over to the USA for 2 months as part of the Vans Warped Tour crew. During that period they will also be playing a number of shows in venues throughout the states before heading back to the Europe to finish recording and play a number of UK and European dates.
