The Facemelters started their rock’n roll journey in spring 2007. At first it was meant to be a “one-gig-mirracle” in one bar with acoustic guitars and so on but it sounded kind a wussy so we took the e-guitars with us with clean sound but it wasn’t still good enough…so…fuck ‘em! Disotortion+drums+rough singing resulted a blasting gig and we decided to continue because the label was ready: sex, booze and rock’n roll!!! (sex we haven’t got yet…)
All The Facemelters guys knew each other before because they play in the same practiseroom in different bands and drink beer very often together so it wasn’t hard to find players to this project. We were only supposed to play good old rock/heavy covers like from Judas Priest to Ozzy, songs that everyone knows and songs that we like to play. Then happened something unexpected: someone made a riff and suddenly we had our own song called “Facemelters”. The flow of riffs didn’t end and finally we realised that this ain’t no project anymore, we were a fucking band! Style, stage performance, having fun…everything fits and we’re really doing this for fun because we really like to get drunk and play good music to the people.
The Facemelters found ‘em selves in BRR-Studio, Raahe, at August 2007 and recorded their first demo “Dirty tool of the Devil” which has four mindblasting hard rock’n roll hits. So…now it’s time to conquer the world with the dirty tool of the devil!
