From Halifax Nova Scotia, the Faceplants, are a three piece rock band with a sound whose maturity and presence are years beyond the simplicity their name implies. Forming in March 2007 when singer/songwriter, Eric Leclerc, asked bassist Matt Fudge and his childhood friend, drummer, Brad Green to support him as a three piece. Having already recorded their first EP “In a Well” and establishing themselves in the Halifax music scene with an hour plus 15 song set, their influences range from Ben Harper and NoFX to the Police and the Foo fighters. Incorporating the sounds of soul, punk, slow groove and folk while making it their own. The Faceplants sound is anything but ordinary.
