The Factor is made up of established Toronto musicians Stephen Bahnesli (Guitar; www.myspace.com/stephenbahnesli), Chris Lesso (Drums; www.myspace.com/chris_lesso) and Chris Chiasson (Chapmanstick/Bass). The goal and spirit of the band is exploration through music, improvising and combining styles of Jazz, Drum N' Bass, Ambient, World Rhythms, and Funk. What started out as a fun way to practice on a day off from their regular gigs, has turned into a swirling synergy of spontaneous ideas, always fresh and intense.
