Chewing gum under a desk that actually still tastes! When you realize that SHIT! It was that other dude's gum... Not so good after all!
We are a group of performer/writers that represent the working class. We are those who, take it or leave it, have no choice but to work with our own hands. We walk amongst people, but feel the difference in needs. Strings attach people together, but we are there to cut it, or attach missing parts, mixing bodies together like it hasn't been done before. Like it hasn't been done before? Or... We transgress from beings to doings and regret nothing. Politics of alienation. Aesthetics of serie B movies. DIY passion. We perform for people that are blinded by money and its after effect, and those that know the situation of kids today. We respect the other countries' situations but we live here, and here we can change something, talk about OUR lives. For Canada, Montreal in particular, inflation is high, minimum wage is not. We don't have the possibility to put aside money or buy anything expensive without loans. We are the kids that sit in the metro and people think they are bums. We are those that write and talk about utopia but in a concrete way. We are those that will stand in the way. We are the kids that are growing up to what...? We don't have the luxury to know yet.

2007...Being formed and reformed by many departments of education, choices and sacrifices, struggles and hopes, these two so-called artists are in union for the purpose of invading the mind. Both have visions of different worlds and perceptions of space, time and values. Playing with black humour and close to sadistic non-sense, the mix of tough guy bullshit and wannabe geisha sees through eyes of dimensions explored by Marx, Bukowski, Lynch, Cronenberg, Kubrick and Barney. Looking for no approval of any sort, and depending on no more than self-satisfaction, the arts, performances and writings arranged by this duo are far from conservative. Mary has more 10 years of stage experience and both have been in music bands for no less than 5 years and are professionally trained to be effective and practical when it comes to shows.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
octobre 2008...Under the same lines, people have been joining up to this duo. All this to have an office space! Yes, space hunting for the next couple of months the company will be glad to open its doors to kids and students that have no place in the system to hang out as kids. Especially with an under 5$ meal. We've been looking for a team of executive and have finally found one that is solid enough to say that we make one. On this note, we'll keep you all posted on who they are and what they do!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2009.... Well we are still looking for the perfect space to permanently install the company. Our plans to become a Coop are not quite yet settled and with the baby on the way in September, it'll take a bit longer. But we do have many more great texts, paintings and goodies to come. Lately autofiction is taking a lot of space in both our worlds. MJEE is planning a graphic novel about a young girl's journey in an urban decay as an orphan. She's also been working on 4X4 canvases of sugar skulls, sugar treats and tattoo prints. YAN'S been working more and more on both his fictional writings and his never ending factory tales. Playwrite as recently entered his world, it might just takes its tole and lead The Factory Line in yet another line of work.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
YANICK's : Struggles and Hopes : music, writing songs for my struggles and my hopes, I got a good 10 songs put on records right now, a mix of Social Distortion, Nirvana, Tim Barry, Chuck Reagan, Johnny Cash... You get the pictrure !!! Imma bring grunge back!!! There is also the book version of Struggles and Hopes, Reflections on our world a bunch of ideas, mixed with a punk attitude and factory-line-stories that mix to become an "in your face" political statement covering issues such as: bullshit white oppression, native discrimination, redistribution of ressources, proloterian lifestyles and true ideologies and much more. Wrote a movie on the factory-lines stories that influenced the name fo the company. A trash comedy : Rock, dead whores and dialogues that should land us straight in jail, what the fuck more can you ask for a movie? We now are working on more scripts to give ourself some freedom of decision in terms of which will be make first. APE is the next one to work on: Advocates of Preventive Euthanasia. We'll keep you posted on that one as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MJEE's: selected experimentations : Exploration through the Kamikazi, Dharma Meets the Devil, Spit Devolution, Not so Quiet Riot. Relative Space performances, Guerilla WarFare flyer distribution, and many more to come. Series of self-reflections and critics on the so-called individual, the vulnerability, the alienation, the women, and the art world. Right now building rooms that alter perceptions and reality in (almost) miniature formats. I will be making a short film about dreams and their involvments into our actions as well as how alienation makes us want to escape from our home, from our values.

« Admettons que Shane MacGowan (The Pogues), Gram Parsons (The Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers), le Zachary Richard de Bayou des mystères et Plume Latraverse ou Richard Desjardins se rencontreraient à la taverne Cherrier... en écoutant du Oscar Thiffault (Mon oncle Pierre)... […]

» Source : Marc-Antoine Dion, Platine
