THE FADE-OUTS ARE A POP-ROCK COMBO, WITH A RETRO-60’s SOUND, AND VOCAL HARMONIES IN THE STYLE OF THE BAND, THE BEACH BOYS AND THE BEATLES. THEY ALSO HAVE PROGRESSIVE ROCK AND POP-JAZZ INFLUENCES SUCH AS YES, JONI MITCHEL AND STEELY DAN.

"THE FADE-OUTS" are a musical collective of like-minded fans of MUSIC. They come from the Greater Boston Area, except Dane Scalise, who grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and is a Steelers fan, Congratulations! He actually has the most experience in the Boston music scene. Having played in "the Lines" and a number of other Boston based acts. Jim Dennis; was in "Bird Brain", as now plays in "Draw the line" the premier Aerosmith cover act, from Boston. He met drummer Chris Pareto, who as well plays in Draw the line. Jim was also in a band with Dennis Foley, called "Snidely Whiplash" Dennis was rooming with Andy Keane in the summer of 2001. They would have thier friends: Dave Bowman and his future wife Dawn McDavid over to play music and sing. Andy's brother Timmy would always be there as well as Brian Dimino and even Rob Norberg, who played drums on a lot of their earlier recordings. They had all just re-discovered "The Beach Boys" and uncovered the famous 'Smile' album. So it was a very special time and it inspired the forming of the band. There hasn't been a lot of activity from the FADE-OUTS, lately. But keep an eye out for the occasional update.
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know that Jim Dennis is playing at Suffolk Downs today at 3:00 and he is playing tomorrow nite at The Line in Chelsea. He plays for the Lois Lane band
I'm going to come and see you guys, I used to listen to Jim playing with Dave Pike first at the pixie theatre and then in Daves basement in the 80's. Different times and different music I guess!
Many thanks for your add and support, welcome aboard!
If you've got a little time left, please kill some by listening to the genre of Progressive Dance :-)

Hey,
I never do stuff like this but, I really want to win so here is my spam/comment:
I made it to the "Sweet 16" for the 2007 PopSearch. I need votes to make it to the next round. Please go here(http://www.bostonpops.org/bso/mods/category_full.jsp?id=bcat12030030) to vote.
If I make it to the end and win, I will sing on the 4th of July with the Boston Pops and win $5000. I am really excited that I made it this far and I want to do my best to win this!!
