Hot Tubes and humbuckers Beer drinkin' Mother Fuckers
From the raucous keg parties of a San Diego suburb called, Clairemont in the late seventies to the dank musty divebars of today, these are the voyages of the Fairfield Fats Band. Founded around 1977 by George Davis and Andy "Fairfield Fats" Norton, the 2 guitar nucleus of the band. Playing with various bass players and drummers over the years we eventually solidified the lineup with the additions of Bassist /Frontman Stephen "Stive" Hoshko and Tom "T.C." Curtis on drums, both veterens of various bands and stalwart rock warriors. We are fans of the 2 guitar attack, guitar harmonies and trade off soloing, but from influences as diverse as Allman Bros./Lynyrd Skynyrd to Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Thin Lizzy. Our bass player spent years on the road in a Power Funk trio (Unstoppable) and later a Celtic Hard Rock band (Superkeltic). What results is an eclectic mix with the foundation being built of solid rock. We just finished up the remaining songs for our second CD, "Too Old to Die Young". Don't let the sound of the name fool you into thinking we're a blues band....we love the blues, but we're a Loud and proud, beer slingin' Hard Rock n' Roll band.
What time is IT? What TIME is it? IT'S RAIDER TIME!!! Happy Football Season, George! (You're the only band member who reads this, anyway!) LOL Tell Stive the Dolts still swallow! GO RAIDERS!! YAAY YAAY!!
