The Fall & Assault strives to write genuine music that has meaning and depth. After over 10 years of playing together in dozens of projects, Derek Friesen (Guitar/Vocals) and Tyson Unrau (Drums) decided to start something fresh and write the music that they want to play. After acquiring the talents and charming good looks from long time friend Darryl Wiebe on bass, The Fall & Assault was born. With a passionate live performance and light hearted attitudes this young band is one to watch out for. After moving into a house together these 3 young men decided to pour all their time, energy (and money) into the band.
All 3 members have a wide spectrum of influences, from Hardcore/metal, to rock, to jazz and folk. With such diverse musical tastes, the band writes songs with a strong sense of groove and melody, but also know how to bring the heavy.
