Who I'd like to meet:
Growing up in Newark, New Jersey, Monique Watkins has it all. She has the looks, body and attitude to match. Monique and her crew were labeled as the baddest Diva's the school had to offer.
Life for Monique is great, and becomes even better when she finally hooks up with the hottest guy in school. One night of passion and romance leads to her world spiraling downward and her Diva status is snatched right from under her. From pregnancy, to gang related murders, Monique's life takes a turn for the worst and all she wants to do is live life like she used to.
As she tries to get her life together, one of her closest friends has other motives and her friendship turns into more then she bargained for. Until finally, when she's unable to reclaim her life, she gets sucked into the world of drugs and prostitution. From abuse and family struggles, to unpredicted deaths and jail time, Monique finds herself alone, and lost in the world on more than one occasion. Will this Fallen Diva ever see the light?
