Skinnie Magazine and Never Say Die Present “Battle Of The Bands” for a slot on the Erine Ball/Skinnie Magazine stage at the San Diego leg of the Vans Warped Tour. August 22nd at Cricket Amphitheater 2 winners on each night of the prelims will advance to the finals to be held at Canes in Mission Beach on Thursday August 13th. Each contest will be held at Brick By Brick at 1130 Buenos Ave. San Diego CA 92110. The Brick By Brick is a 21+ venue. The dates of the prelims are Wednesday 7/8, 7/15, and 7/22. Minors can perform but can only enter the club for their set up, and performance, then must leave the club. Under no circumstances will minors be allowed to watch the performance. andy	Aug 1 2008 12:40 PM hey just checked out the music...you've got some pretty good stuff going on here. a little different than what i'm use to but thats a good thing. your music actually reminds me a little of tomandandy stuff. TaA does more instrumental metal but it seems to be more geared towards films...this seems more for a music listening audience...god i hope that made sense, if it didnt...well...i just gave you a compliment LOL

LOVE the section ending on 18 seconds, and between 58 secs and 1 minute 10... the second of these two sounds more catchty and sturdy, and makes the tune to be honest... love it... ive god a proposition for you... fancy sendin me a demo? im pretty good with promotion, photography, graphics etc... and ive got a couple of GENUINE friends in the music industry... some from and associated with roadrunner records (through my dad lol...) but either way, i could get that demo to someone whos opinion matters?! yeah, if you fancy it whatevrer, if not keep up the good work, cant wait for a full album that i can get my hands on... if you fancy it add me on my promo sight www. myspace. com/darkendesigns in the last few months ive done some for john davis (korn) i got really excited cuz he actually talked to me! i melted lol... yeah im sad i know..., loads of local bands, a few photos for metallica (my dads help again lol.. he knows em)and 2 established house djs... ill do stuff for free if you wanna send me a load of photos, cuz its a lot of fun for me and im trying to get my name out a bit... so... loves n luck from me then... roxy darken
