The Family Eversole was formed in 2007 on the heels of Never Eversole's debut record release entitled, "Creature". During and after the recording, he found that the same talented and versatile musicians that helped create the record, would also form an extremely good band. And with this tight nit group of folks, friends, and music, "family" is the only word really getting close to describing it. Thus, The Family Eversole was born. 2008 has been an exciting year so far for this young band. "Creature" has been receiving rave reviews all across the country from reputable publications and satisfied patrons alike, as well as receiving radio play on college and NPR stations. This has brought the unique sound that The Family Eversole produces to the ears of many unsuspecting listeners. One ride through any one tune they play will get across the emotion, mastery, and conviction with which they perform. Never Eversole provides the banjo work, along with some guitar, and vocals. His banjo stylings have been well known around the North Carolina area for a decade now, and with the release of "Creature" in 2008, his compositions and recordings/performances of them, are becoming an ever greater part of the musical landscape. The addition of "The Beautiful Chupacabra", Miss Fidaelia Flame, has brought a new energy and creativity to the band, along with some the finest fiddle playing around. She delivers that old-time Galax style fiddlin with a flare from the mothership funkconnection, creating a beautifully twisted sound. Ben Jensen, jazz virtuoso and Rennaisance Man with the beats to back it with on percussion/drums, has added a whole new developmental elemental to the foundation of The Family E. And to complete our round-house rhythm section, the newest member of the family, Grey Hackleman on throw-back bass. His backgound in many styles of music provide him a fabric with which to weave a totally original rhazzgrass bass style. In the end, this is a group for the ages. With their originality and creativity, they will constantly attract new fans and listeners. And with their firmly planted roots, they are sure to never cease creation and cultivation of life and love through music...The Family Eversole is a name that will be here forever.
