THE FANTASTIC 5 (F5) is a 4 piece Indie/Alternative rock band originating from the South Florida area that has been together since 2001. Their distinctive progressive-melodic sound seems to produce the ideal atmosphere for hosting the imagery inspired by their somber lyrical content.
Dead By Easter is the group's second full length CD. The light-hearted grooves such as Running Down the Highway, from their first full length CD, Saves the Universe Part One, give way to songs with more intense and sophisticated character – evocative of the heavier tracks from their first release.
Etched within this release are plenty of examples of how these 4 individuals have learned to bring their independent creative influences together. Although dark, the nature of the songs sustains a sound that is immediately accessible to audiences of all types – and the memorable hooks fuel melodies that the listener finds themselves humming again and again.
