The Far Corners are a San Francisco band that plays alternative garage rock with an emphasis on melodic, well-crafted songs. Strong harmonies collide with heavy rhythms and the occasional psychedelic twist.
At a recent concert, various listeners compared our music to Talking Heads, Guided by Voices, and Procol Harum. And that was just on the first tune!
Our goal is to realize each song to its fullest extent. This means focusing on how the song really *feels*, from the composition through different arrangements to the actual recordings and performances.
