Formed from the ashes of such bands as B234eva, Diana Accident, Motapsychkill Breakdown, Der Kryst 33, and Interracial Backdoor Action, The Far Queue is the latest MPD of Btwothree.
Current incarnations also include Total Fucking Racket, The Spahn Rancheros, SelfDater, Lil' Eichmann, and Phase IV
In theory this link should take you my 'interpretation' of The Indelicates' single Julia, We Don't Live In The Sixties
Greetings friends! I wanted to invite you to check out the new experimental hip-hop EP i just dropped on Lab Beat UK!
HipGnosis's first release on Lab Beat, a label out of Cambridge UK specializing in "deservedly fashionable, relentlessly sideways electronic music, also known as glitch hop, IDM and jungle."
The album is titled Scientific Illuminism (Is For Sissies), and is available as an exclusive Juno Download until May 8.
From the Lab Beat page:
With his deliciously clinical, woozy, bassy instrumental "Scientific Illuminism (Is For Sissies)," HipGnosis embarks in a different direction, more usually working with some remarkable vocalists, to fit their visions together.
With this outing, HipGnosis stretches into new territory, incorporating elements of glitch, drum n bass, ambient, and ever more experimental sounds. It is a continuous-mix, nonstop head-nodding, mind-blowing journey from beginning to end. Get it now exclusively through Juno Downloads. The album will be hitting iTunes and other major digital distribution points on May 8. Thanks for your support!
Slam follow up the impressive 'City Destroyer' with the 2nd release on their hot new imprint Paragraph. The label has successfully secured much support including the who's who of the techno fraternity, from Richie Hawtin to Mobilee label boss Anja Schneider.
Paragraph number 2 has created quite a stir already with the track 'What's On Your Mind' featuring on Slam's own "Sci-Fi Hi-Fi" mix CD last year. The A-side is the epic Hot Knives, (a track purely composed for Slam live shows), which has already rocked every club and festival they played last year. Hot Knives has already been described as Slam's biggest dancefloor destroyer since Positive Education.
With a single track clocking in at 28 minutes, this record is an ode to the queen of the ninth level of the underworld. A ritualistic psalmody for an Evil Dead prequel in the aztec civilization.
