About The Fat Cats

The Fat Cats are a four piece band from Northeast Pa. We perform at large and small venues. County Fairs - Music Festivals - Weddings - Private Parties - Bars - Clubs and Lounges. Our musical tastes are varied and it shows in the material we have chosen to play. Some of the artists we cover are: James Brown, Muddy Waters, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Bob Seger, Van Morrison and the list goes on. Our original music is something that is hard to put a label on. A heavy dose of blues mixed with other flavors all come together to form the songs on; "STAY TUNED", our 2005 CD of original music. Of course performing is our passion and we think it shows on stage. Come out and check out a live show. Make that connection that can only be had when an audience and a band unite.

The LIGHT THE NIGHT fundraising walk is September 13th at Reid Park and I am off to a good start....I've collected $220 so far....but I need more donations. =) My Dad, Duke, passed away 3 years ago from Leukemia and we have been doing these walks in his memory since then. This is our 4th walk and Sarah's 1st time as team captain. The team is "Duke's Team" and we are also looking for people to join our team and help us raise money so the walk can be an even bigger success than last year. George Wesley	Jan 12 2008 7:16 PM God bless Zero. His friendship and inspiration.will be missed. He was one of my major keyboard influences. My first rock band experience was with him in "Total Chaos". We did the Grateful Dead tribute thing, before there were tributes, in"Dead Branch Band". We played a lot of great music together. While visiting him a couple days ago in the hospital he told me how much he loved being in "The Fat Cats" and wanted to get better to go back out and play. God had other plans.
