Bio
Seattle, WA March 01, 2010 Delivering pure rawk showmanship coupled with an introspective twist, The Fatigues formed in 2004 at a high point of political tension. With seemingly endless wars abroad and civil unrest at home, The Fatigues have done their best to inspire a new revolution. While the quintet’s themes are directly related to the trials and tribulations of the great “US war in Indo-China”, the objective to unleash true “Freedom Rock” on citizens in the here and now has remained a primary goal since the band’s inception. Their songs explore the plight of soldiers, civilians and prostitutes and explore themes like post-combat stress disorder, personal responsibility, individual freedom and the legacy of Lyndon B. Johnson. Hoping for some serious change that may never come, the band has kept it cranked and done their best to deliver a singularly satisfying blend of sixties flashback proto-punking fist-raising music. While the parallels between the Viet War era and now may be obvious to some, The Fatigues want to heal our nation’s scars by bringing the best part back... namely, kick-ass rock! For listeners that don’t give a flip about politics there are plenty of crunching guitars, primal drumming, potent melodies and plenty of umph. A couple of The Fatigues have done tours of duty with past bands, most notably, Couch of Eureka, I’m a Gun, Pops Spoiler and his Deadbeats and The Cops. Here are The Fatigues unleashing their own rock-and-roll fury! ...... <a href="http://www.myspaceeditor.org" style="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt;text-weight:bold;font-size:12pt" -
