The Feels have established their roots in an act called Earl, a cover band that began in 1998. Earl was an acoustic set before blossoming into a full out rock set in 2000. They have made a name for themselves in the Hamilton area as an act that offered something for everyone. Their set list spans from classic rock to new rock.
As Earl grew in creativity and style, they were ready to focus their efforts on something that they could call their own. After a year of creative collaboration, recording, and production, The Feels were born. Their debut album, 'A Day Without Plans', was released in the spring of 2003. The album explores rock in many of its forms: hard rock, blues-based rock, ska, and soft rock. Original members Carm Milioto and AC were joined by MC and Todd Hornby. As The Feels grew, they shared ideas and explored each other’s musical tastes. Their self-titled, sophomore album was released in June 2006.
The Feels continue to perform their cover act while including original music into their set. This allows the band to maintain their following at established venues while gaining exposure to their original music. The band has also found a home in Hamilton’s music community – teaming up with other local bands at clubs, halls, and special events. The Feels aspire to contribute to rock and roll by providing audiences with a band that spreads a positive spirit and an undeniable vibe. Expect new music from The Feels in 2008.
