The Felt Show's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | The Felt Show started off when Paul Santos asked Ben Rumback to make the first set of puppets for a music video back in 2004. The video never happened but it got the ball rolling. Then came the idea of doing a TV show about a hobo puppet that told stories through the trash that he would find on the street. That idea also fell through. By now Paul had 10 puppets and nothing to show for it. He deicided to do a two man puppet show at the Replay with his friend Mark Donegan and a couple clamp lights. Needless to say the people who showed up that night to watch Stinking Lizeveta had no idea what the hell was happening or if they should laugh at the two weirdos on stage. Two shows and a year later we were asked to open up for a one man band from Chicago called Dogme 95. By then the group had swelled to about ten people that worked on different parts of the show. We have done several shows since once opening for Harry and the Potters and at the AstroKitty One Year Anniversary Show. The last show we did at the Replay had about twenty working to make it happen.
