Played our first show July 8, 1998 on Decatur Street in New Orleans. Stopped counting personnel changes after the twelfth lineup. Released acclaimed album NOBODY LIKES SNEAKY PETE on UTR Records in February of 2003; after Katrina, someone in Scandinavia bootlegged this album and had the nerve to give it a new release date. It warms our hearts to see our European friends come visit New Orleans in the wake of the worst disaster in American history so they can steal from us.
The recordings on this website feature Chris Trapani on mandolin, Tony Frickey on djembe, Peter Orr on guitar, and Pol Edmonds on bass, drums, and guitar. Edmonds produced the sessions.

PWAAAAAUL!!!!!!!!!!!! What's up? Life has changes somewhat dramatically since Katrina... I'm not doing too much music lately, though I'll be involved witha Mike Majonas (dead Tabula Rasa guitarist) Memorial show in October... Chuck is involved with that... Wouldn't it be cool to slip in a short Polliwog reunion for that date? Let me know if you're into it, and I'll talk to the people about it... Anyhoozle, Ingrid (my Canadian girlfiend, blonde, long legs, hotty) is in town for a visit... FUN!!!
