Among The Fervor’s songs can be found an honesty not unlike PJ Harvey’s — gut-punching in impact, but life-affirming in its lasting spark and hopeful mysteries. Here, coming out of the indie stronghold of Louisville, it’s filled out by a harmonious but restless band standing with their singer who’s not afraid to open up that she wants “to party with the people I know can feed my hungry, sex-crazed mind and make me fill my lungs up like I was really breathing/like I was holding my breath all this wasted time/I’m ready to start livin’…” And The Fervor are ready to share the new life they are finding—here and now. Great show, kids. Thanks again for coming over and knockin our socks off. Wicked Fervor gear, too. It was like a Fervor fanclub meeting at Christine's around 3 a.m. Sunday. Hurry up and come back.
It was great seeing y'all. I like what you've done with the rehearsal place, that new couch from Ikea really fits. If y'all need a roadie for that Chicago show in May, I know someone who is not a murderer. I'll even ride strapped on top of the van.
April 10th and 11th in NYC... I'll rally the troops from the old stomping ground.... p.s. We are way overdue for socialization... (Don't know how much longer I can stand it.)
i seen you guys up at northside tavern a few weeks back. i very much enjoyed my first listen of the fervor. i picked up the cd, and i love it. best of luck and merry christmas!
