The Fibbers started out as an idea hoping to be fulfilled.
An idea of starting a band came to mind and an ad was placed on Riffs website for band members with with "No Ego" and a passionate desire to create and play good music of the same genre.
After almost a year of no-shows and false starts, the right people turned up in the right place at the right time and The Fibbers were born.
Since then we have been practicing hard and playing a lot of gigs.
We have played to a variety of audiences of all ages and music styles at a variety of venues and occassions from gigs to birthday partys to charity events.
We currently only do covers of classic songs from the last 5 decades but are thinking about writing some of our own music.
Playing gigs is what we do best. We all have full time jobs but always make time for music and people we meet on the road.

Mind saying that everyone I've played it to love's it. Did you go to see Dave when he played at the Head of Steam in Newcastle. Great night. Probably only about 30 people there (including Jake Burns).

Not sure how it's going to work with the setting up tonight. We are getting set up at about 6:00 (minimal kit) then were on from 7:45 to 8:30. We'll work it out.
