Emma Luker, Kim Perry and Dee Trewartha make up the Fiddle Chicks! Everything you hear in our music whether live or recorded is just us and our fiddles....
An experiment in arranging tunes and songs
using just three fiddles and voice has created the unique and
entertaining sound of the Fiddle Chicks. Starting with favourite Celtic tunes, the Chicks have moved on to embrace Blues/Country, Bulgarian, Jazz and Gypsy to contemporary folk—and had a lot of fun along the way! Add to this the band’s own vibrant originals and some digital effects to highlight the diversity of the fiddle, and the result is an eclectic and inspiring repertoire. Their sound “goes from the whimsical to the dramatic”! (Peter Goers, ABC radio)
The Fiddle Chicks play at a wide variety of venues throughout Adelaide, including the Grace Emily Hotel, The Wheatsheaf Hotel, The Brecknock, the Singing Gallery in McLaren Vale, The Gov and the SA Folk Centre.

How nice that you have not turned down my friendly musical invitation. Your trio is lovely and majestic is your music. Must I congratulate not only Adelaide or Australia, but also the whole wide world for being hearing out your repertoire made of beautiful country songs. "Maralinga" was such a delight to my ears, "The Mango Wall Disaster" a medieval instrumental song of so many beauties knocked me out, however your "Cold Mountain" moved with my rural honors and due to that it has been picked out as being my best-loved number for certain. May any of you have a taste for my simple provincial music and after checking it out send me any desirable comments on my wares. Please, accept a friendly musical embrace from your admirer, living down here in Minas Gerais, the land of freedom, country music and heart of Brazil,
Hi girls - see I promised I would find you! Really, really enjoyed the Nanga performances, and look forward to touching base at Fairbridge! Cheers Felicity (Flick!)
