Creative Workshops
Fieldwork workshops take constructive critcism to a new level. Discussions dig deeper than just what folks liked or didn't like. It's a peer-to-peer structure that focuses on exchanging information and analysis. The workshops are guided by experienced arts facilitators and are offered in Dance/movement, Music, Theater, and Writing. If you're looking to see how all four disciplines perceive your work join our mix discipline workshop.

Performance Opportunities
Ready to see how an audience responds to your work? Kind of like a high art variety show, Fieldays give you a slot of twelve minutes in a nice theater to show off some work. It's a no frills kind of thing, super affordable, and a great way to test your piece on an audience.

Arts Management Classes
Workshops in fundraising, touring, marketing & publicity, and digital media. Need to know how to get corporate support or a review in the paper? These classes will show you how. They're hands on, practical, and our professoinals don't hold anything back. They'll tell you how the business works -- down to the nitty gritty.

Sponsored Artist Program
Have a trust fund? No? Well, then chances are you'll need to do some fundraising. The Field's sponsored artists program shares our organization's nonprofit status with you. That way you'll be eligible for grants and individual donors recieve tax deductions on donations to you.

Field Artist Residencies
Field Artist Residencies take many shapes and forms, and usually feature free rehearsal space at The FAR Space, our Chelsea-based studio. Please visit our website for current opportunities.

The Field Network
Since starting in 1986 the Field has expanded to provide services to 14 different locations across the country including Seattle, Arizona, and San Francisco.

Creative Residencies
"Artward Bound" gives individual performing artists an immersion into their own work, a supportive group experience, and a peacful rural retreat. Residencies are free and bring diverse individuals together for 10-14 days. Past Artward Bound residencies have taken place at White Oak Plantation in Florida, Wild Meadows Collective Farm in Pennsylvania, and Earthdance in Massachusetts.

Resource Center
Resource center is packed with information about the arts community. If you need help understanding anything, the kowledgeable staff is happy to help. Wi-fi, Laptop PCs, Fax, Scanner, Color Printer, and Copier are all made available for use during our walk-in-hours.
