The Fifth has taken over the Jersey shore rock scene; following in the footsteps of such greats as Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band , Bon Jovi , and many others. This fierce female-fronted foursome will not be denied their place in Rock 'n' Roll history. The chemistry between the members of The Fifth is a melting pot of influences and is the backbone of their music.
Zeppelin, The Ramones, and Blondie (to name a few) are embodied in the freewheel creative spirit that is "The Fifth". Their eclectic sound is a combination of rock, punk, & dance delivering an energy force onto any world stage.
Sönzená, The Fifth's first full-length album captures the band's bold evolution into a true rock instrumental powerhouse. "Compositionally Unique" is an apt description for The Fifth's first album, something that sets the tone for everything else that's yet to come.
It takes only a few seconds to recognize that The Fifth is something totally different. Their collective performance is so raw, so stripped to the bone, that it is impossible to ignore. Their purpose is to have fun, explore rock n' roll and share an engaging, hi-energy performance that connects with the audience.
There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
