Originating from an unpronounceable rural outback of Anglesey, and rumoured to possess mysterious druid-like powers, Filthy Pedro is a pioneer of the Antifolk movement in the UK, the reincarnation of Scipio Africanus.
Antifolk isn't about technical prowess, it's about telling your story, with whatever musical accompaniment you can muster. And with just his voice, guitar and considerable charm, Filthy's songs explore his obsessions with ancient history, dirty sex and lynching attempts in Wales.

Satan worshipping and overused topic in pop music is just the straw that allowed the struggle between the two artists to begin: a patchwork of microsongs in which each one of them tries to annihilate the other’s style, a record that ranges between love ditties, doom-noise cants, and irreverent & wild tarantellas (ehm.... maybe i’m overstating now). .
