I started my life as a pub in 1849, at the bottom of a narrow, cobbled road called Hocker Hill St. I have been a friend and a place to go for many different people from all walks of life ever since. In the early seventies I was known as a Biker's pub and have been infamous ever since. My new owners have been with me since March 2000 and have looked after me well. To keep up with the times I have a new digital juke box - it is full of metal, punk, reggae, soul and good tunes - for good times and quad vods (double,double smirnoff vodka and red bull for only £5.50), live music and friendly surroundings I am the best - once you reach the tender age of 18 come along and visit me - I look forward to meeting you.....and getting you wrecked.........
