Eine klare musikalische Tradition zu pflegen und trotzdem einen eigenen Weg zu finden ist eine selten gewordene Kunst im Haifischbecken des Rock - die den Flaming Rocks aus Leipzig aber respektabel geglückt ist. Mit beiden Beinen stehen Schlagzeuger Bruno, Bassist Benny, Gitarrist Lutz und Sängerin Laura im traditionellen Heavyrock erdiger Prägung, der auf dem Debüt "Your Gun" auf gelungene Weise mit Metal, Emo-Screams, Südstaaten-Staubwalzen und Bolzplatz-Punk angereichert wird. Ein vorzügliches Gebräu, das Laura mit ihrer verblüffenden Röhre brodelnd heiß aufkocht. To follow musical tradition while still finding your own way is a rare talent in the shark infested waters of Rock - but The Flaming Rocks from Leipzig did it. Drummer Bruno, bassist Benny, guitarist Lutz and vocalist Laura keep firmly grounded in the tradition of Heavy Rock but also bring elements of Metal, Emo-Screams and Streetpunk to the mix and lead singer Laura serves up this brew deliciously...
